Week or Weekend courses
This course is designed to push your paddling and boat handling in tough conditions. We make full use of Anglesey’s many tide races and overfalls, and any available weather conditions to test your sea kayaking skills and abilities and look at developing them to a top level. As well as looking at managing complex rescues, tidal navigation, and group leadership we will spend time looking at playing in races and advanced boat handling.
Is this course for you?
You
need to be a competent sea kayaker in moderate sea conditions and have
a reliable roll. You need to have and know how to use a sea kayaking
towline and be able to rescue out on the open sea.
