Q How do I contact you
A Click here for details. You may need to copy/paste the email address into your favourite email client .
Q The link to a page gives an error like "404...not found"
A Sometimes text is mis-typed or the page has been taken down. We would like to know if there are any errors so please send the error to us. You will need to give the URL of the error page and preferably from which page you were looking at before clicking the link. This enables a rapid resolution to the issue. Please do not send "this page does not work" without any info as it really does not help. Please give as much information as possible even if it seems trivial (related to the website).
Q The website seems wrongly formatted.
A Although extensive testing does take
place, there are one or two issues that can occur. Most formatting
errors tend to occur in Internet Explorer. The website is designed
using CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) and Internet Explorer (any version)
tends to be a bit different from other browsers in it's definition of
standards. Generally, the website is
tested in Firefox
and Opera in
which both browsers usually give very good results. Both are free.
Try one of the browsers suggested and if the same error
occurs, then please contact us with the following information: browser
version, operating system and URL and we will try and discover the
cause. The more info you give, the better it is.
Q What happened to the contact forms?
A There has been a few times where the forms have not worked. The root cause was determined to be PHP so it was decided to stop using PHP and unfortunately, you would need to use an email client to send an email to ensure it was sent.
Q How do I book a course if there is no way to select it?
A See previous answer regarding contact forms. However, you could also ring up the office here for details on the status of the courses or if you would like a date outwith the proposed schedule. Most courses are subject to weather conditions so you should always ring/email (at least 48 hours before arriving) first to check the status.
Q I am a manufacturer and I want to be added to your web site.

Q Why do I have to replace AT with @ when an email address is written.
A Two answers, first see the question regarding contact forms above. Secondly, due to this plague of spammers who use web-bots to search through websites for suitable email addresses to harvest (Usually: "Do you want cheap angina drugs at cheap cheap prices?" "Cheap imitation designer chronological devices?" "Hello, my name is a scammer and I have lots of money in my bank account and I want to steal your money by you giving me all your details?") it is a way of you contacting us at the right email address. One day we will sort it out.
Q What happened to the forums?
A Spammers. They are plague of the internet and unfortunately not easily stopped. However, you can view the old forums here You cannot register only view. It might re-appear again one day and we will let you know via the news page.
Q Can I download and use your photos?
A Depending on the usage. Generally, the
answer is NO as some of these photographs have been specifically given
to Sea Kayaking UK for display. However, please do contact us if you
wish to contact the original owner and get their permission.
If you are a dealer or require photos for promotion/marketing of Sea
Kayaking UK please contact website AT seakayakinguk.com (replacing AT

as we can provide higher resolution images and artwork than is
displayed.
Q The Kayak colour chooser, can I download it and use it?
