Richard Perkins has joined the SKUK team as resident artist specialising in deck artwork for the 2007 season. Coming from a more conventional artistic background, Richard has enjoyed the transition to new styles, surfaces and mediums bringing his passion for the outdoors alive.

Richard enjoys discovering the integral patterns found within the natural world and transforming them into bold images bursting with character. His works vary in style mirroring the diversity of textures, forms or ideas being represented with tough new mediums designed to withstand marine conditions.

The artwork is painted with the direct instructions of a client working from images or ideas. Richard is also happy to discuss outline suggestions which allow him licence to develop some of his own ideas into the piece.

Painting exclusively for SKUK Richard offers something a little different, something unique, something special for your boat.
