Justine Curgenven

Profile
Justine Curgenven has successfully combined her love for nature and adrenaline with her professional television background by starting Cackle TV Productions in 2001.
Often filming mountaineering expeditions, such as the ascent of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, she also uses her talent to film sea kayaking adventures, and her handiwork can be seen in the Nigel Dennis Kayaks and Lendal videos.
An avid surf kayaker, she competed in 2001 at the Surf Kayak Worlds in Santa Cruz for the British team, helping them come in fourth. That same year, together with Fiona Whitehead, she circumnavigated Wales. In March 2002, again with Fiona, she circumnavigated the Isle of Anglesey in 14.5 hours. In August 2002 she completed a three-week solo expedition in Iceland’s Western Fjords. In the summer of 2003, she and Hadas Feldman paddled 480 km along the coastline of Kamchatka, filming the expedition for the National Geographic Channel.
